

I’m so glad you’re here. Let me introduce myself and explain how my hands-on experience in the trades industry inspired me to create a virtual assistant service designed just for trade business owners like you.
I spent 14 years working in the landscaping industry. Before launching VA4Trades in 2022, I ran a successful landscaping business alongside my husband. I was the one managing the day-to-day running of my husband’s construction business: answering calls, booking appointments, sending quotes, following up on leads, invoicing, and keeping everything organised.
One of the biggest lessons I learned?
You can’t do it all alone.
In the early days, the thought of getting help felt overwhelming. I had all the usual worries:
Would I look like I wasn’t capable of running my business?
Would I feel embarrassed asking for help with things I “should” know?
Could I really trust someone else to handle important parts of the business?
But over time, I realised something crucial: building a team isn’t a weakness—it’s the reason businesses grow and succeed. You don’t have to (and shouldn’t) carry everything on your own shoulders.
